U.S. trade policy has been dominating the headlines around the world. The Trump Administration has aggressively utilized tools such as investment rules (CFIUS), trade remedy actions and tariffs to address what it perceives as threats to national security. Critics of the Administration’s actions argue that this results in protectionism and a withdrawal of the United States from the world stage.
